This residential complex, consists of four semi-autonomous apartments and is located on the island of Ano Koufonisi, around the area of Fanos beach.
The main idea of the design was driven from needs such as the rooms’ privacy, their separation from the common areas and the greatest possible transfer of the everyday activities in the outdoor spaces.
The plot design has placed the living room and kitchen on the east side and in direct connection with the entrance, while the bedrooms, each with independent access are protected from north winds and were placed to the west. The open air course that unites them is coveredwith shades and urges the tenants to get acquainted with the nature and the island climate.
The main courtyard with the pool was designed with a view to the south and west. The “protected” recess in front of the kitchen was designed to serve the dining room and the outdoor kitchen-bar and together with the outdoor living room form an L-shaped general layout under a large canopy.
