The apartment building was one of the first test attempts of developing an energy building and was used as an example for future constructions with similar specifications and requirements.

One of the biggest challenges faced was to deal with the difficulties that came from the subsoil and more specifically from an old stream bed of the area.

The proximity to the adjacent park, with tall plane trees, largely determined the materiality and selection of the decorative elements. As a result, the building developed a strong visual identity, having as its main theme, the single front of the balconies which are definitely considered a unique element.

The construction incorporated structural elements which at that time were in an experimental stage in Greece, such as the insulating materials, used for the first time and this has constituted the basic rules for the company’s constructions, thus creating a reference point establishing it on the housing market.
